When Jesus comes to live in man
the old things become new
as the past no longer binds one
forgiveness has come true

by being saved born of spirit
God opens up new doors
making it possible to grow
new truths to then explore
____
in searching out the word of God
one finds the avenues
of living life abundantly
a desire which to choose
____
being saved is not all there is
in walking right with God
but rather what can each one do
while on this earth we trod
____
for living as unto the Lord
dying to self each day
the potter’s hands can mold and shape
a piece of humble clay
____
developing a character
that’s fit to rule and reign
in His kingdom upon the earth
one’s efforts aren’t in vain
____
but the rewards shall come to those
who choose to obey Christ
living wholly unto His word
whose value has no price
